Culver City Fireworks Safety During Fourth of July
As we approach the 4th of July, the Culver City Police Department and the Culver City Fire Department want to remind everyone that fireworks of any kind are illegal in Culver City. Even possession of Safe and Sane fireworks can result in a criminal charge.
Fireworks can cause injury, property damage and possibly even death. Fireworks should only be used by qualified pyrotechnicians in a safe and appropriate location.
If someone were to transport fireworks through Culver City and get stopped, and the officers found the fireworks it would likely result in a possession of fireworks citation or ticket which would result in a criminal charge, mandatory court appearances and even possible jail time.
Of course everyone’s number one goal should be to stay safe over the holiday, but if someone does get caught with fireworks, that person still has rights and should contact a local qualified attorney to help protect their rights and their good name.
If you had been driving and got stopped and fireworks were found in your car, you should call Attorney Mark Rosenfeld for assistance.
