It’s pretty rare to potential jurors excited for their jury trial, but ever since in-person jury trials have reopened, I’ve seen many jurors who are genuinely happy to be there. Nobody is looking for ways out, not even by claiming COVID-19 exposure or sickness. It’s a wonderful united feeling, but it also reminds me that, in the past year and a half, we’ve been lonelier than ever.
